This Privacy Policy explains how Tiny Tiger Lab ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We built Tiny Tiger Lab to be a private, on-device experience. We do not operate any servers that collect your data, we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone.
1. Information We Collect
The App stores the following information locally on your device only:
- Profile details — a display name and zodiac sign you choose.
- Profile photo — an optional image you take with the camera or pick from your photo library, saved in the App's private storage.
- App activity — your saved favourites, drawn fortunes, daily streak, and settings (such as music and haptics preferences).
This data is kept on your device using the operating system's standard storage and is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
2. Camera and Photo Library
If you choose to set a profile picture, the App will ask for permission to use your camera and/or photo library. These permissions are used for one purpose only: letting you select or capture a profile photo. The photo is stored privately on your device and is never uploaded. You can remove the photo at any time from the Edit Profile screen, and you can revoke these permissions in your device Settings.
3. In-App Web Reader
The App includes a built-in reader that lets you view publicly available cultural articles (for example, from Wikipedia) inside the App. When you open an article, your device connects directly to that website, and your use of it is governed by that website's own privacy policy. We do not control, receive, or store the content of those pages or your browsing within them.
4. Background Music
The App can play optional background music that is bundled with the App or generated on your device. Playing music does not collect any information about you.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
- No accounts, logins, or passwords.
- No location data.
- No contacts, messages, or health data.
- No advertising identifiers or tracking across apps or websites.
- No usage analytics sent to us or to third parties.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all data stays on the device and nothing is transmitted to us, the App does not gather personal information from any user, including children.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your information remains on your device until you delete it within the App (for example, by removing your profile photo or resetting progress in Settings) or until you uninstall the App, which permanently removes all of its locally stored data.
8. Your Rights
Because we never receive your data, you are always in full control of it. You can view, change, or delete your information at any time directly within the App, and manage app permissions through your device Settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
